GRAMMY-nominated producer and dance artist Alesso, hitmaker Marshmello and GRAMMY nominated singer-songwriter and guitarist James Bay have today delivered their glistening new track, Chasing Stars.
Conceptually, the track reflects on a broken relationship, recalling on the small moments shared between one and another. Soaring above superb production from Alesso and Marshmello, Bay's raw and evocative vocals take centre stage. His warm and captivating performance is perfectly accompanied by poignant piano melodies and folk-infused guitar work, which are woven in perfectly within the songs driving beat.
The release arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Jake Jelicich (Dua Lipa, Niall Horan). We meet Bay in a desolate video store, as he views a number of deeply intimate, home-movie-like scenes, before he himself transports in to the nostalgic realm of the videos.
