Australia-based British trio Brixton Alley have today dropped their new single, See You Later. To celebrate the release, the band have shared with us five things they're glad to see the back of in 2022!

Speaking of the track, frontman Jonny Margo shares: “This song was just about a night out that was had with an old friend, that is where it started and we worked on it in the studio from there. One thing we can say for sure is how the Australian music scene has influenced our music over the last couple of years. we’ve taken a lot of inspiration from what Australian artists are doing and how the scene, in general, has grown. We absolutely love it here and feel very blessed we can write and perform our music in our new home Brisbane.”

BEER TAX

No explanation needed. Cheap piss for everyone. We all need a few pints after the pandemic, why not make them cheap. Vote Brixton Alley for PM 2022.

LA NIÑA

She's a hot, sweaty mess that has made us question the name "The Sunshine State". We can't wait for her to bugger off, so we can go back to the beach.

TAKING CALLS ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT

No Karen, we don't want to hear about what happened to you at work today, even if we "really won't believe it"...

CHICKEN SAUSAGES

They sneak in unsuspectingly and ruin your BBQ, AND more importantly, your pigs in blankets at Christmas. Sausages should be pork or beef. Chicken, we love you, but you have no place inside something that doesn’t resemble a chicken.

BRIXTON ALLEY BAND T-SHIRTS

We've got bloody loads of them, all shapes and sizes and all looking for a lovely fan's wardrobe. Come and grab one at a gig, we have about a thousand gigs coming up, so, come along and we'll love you forever.
