Last night, the 2024 Shure Rolling Stone Australia Awards took over Sydney's Ivy for a star-studded celebration of Australian music. The evening was made complete with performances from iconic artists Neil Finn and Angus & Julia Stone.
Taking home awards were Peach PRC for Best Single, The Teskey Brothers for Best Record and Dom Dolla for Best New Artist, with Tones and I receiving the Rolling Stone Global Award and Crowded House being awarded the Rolling Stone Icon Award. “Thank you Rolling Stone for making us into an icon. I'm not sure what that truly means, but I think it means you need to go to Mecca and buy some makeup, so I've done that. I'd like to thank all the band members of Crowded House, so I'm representing for them, they send their love. For everybody, thank you so much for honouring us in this fashion.” Neil Finn said of Crowded House's win.
