Electronic act Vlossom, the musical project of Alister Wright (Cloud Control, Godess911) and Nicholas Littlemore (PNAU, Empire Of The Sun), have returned with their new single, Open Your Mind.
Described by Wright as a "song is about opening your mind to a new journey”, the disco-infused track brings the bands signature refined production existing within a nostalgia-fuelled sonic realm. Wright's dreamy vocals lead the track, ushering listeners into a state of total bliss and euphora.
Vlossom teamed up with fashion and portrait photographer Rudolf Zverina on the visual identity of the track, with band member Russell Fitzgibbon sharing of the collaboration: “I felt like this photo captured one of the most transcendental expressions which I was always looking for with this song's art. In the style, I wanted to keep it slightly retro-futuristic without being vintage.”
Vlossom will return to the stage this April, performing at Wollongong's Yours & Owls festival.
