American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist UPSAHL has dropped her new single, Into My Body. We caught up with the singer whilst she was in Australia to chat about the release, her multi-genre approach to creating, performing on stage and so much more! Having caught up with the singer last year, we asked UPSAHL the same round of rapid fire questions to see what had changed in the past 12 months...
Written in the wake of six months on the road, the track delves into the singers innermost thoughts, offering moments of introspection and self-loathing that presents itself as an out of body experience. Foraying into more dance-infused sonics, UPSAHL pivots away from the more pop-punk based sonics of her previous releases, instead crafting a sizzling soundscape that will have you dancing your insecurities away. The track is set to appear on the singers forthcoming EP, Sagittarius, set to arrive next month.
UPSAHL has just wrapped up her debut Australian headline tour, playing to crowds in Melbourne and Sydney. The This Is my First Headline Tour will continue on to Europe, with the singer set to visit the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France and the United Kingdom this month, before wrapping up the year with a performance at ZONA Music Festival in Phoenix on December 4.
