Australian pop sensation Troye Sivan is back, sharing his first solo single of the year with Angel Baby. The 90's synth inspired track follows up the musicians collaboration with country superstar Kacey Musgraves, Easy.

Bringing all the goodness of your favourite 90's synth ballads, the romantic track is an intimate moment from the musician, capturing the shared moments between two lovers and how new love can bring a revitalised energy to live in the moment. Sivan's mesmerising vocals float above nostalgic production, that will have you slow dancing in your living room.

Speaking of the track, Sivan shares: “Angel Baby is my crack at an adoring, doting, love struck, mega pop, gay, power ballad. I thought we needed a few more of those.” The singer is set to return to the stage over the weekend, performing the track at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards.

Last year, Sivan unleashed his lockdown project, In A Dream, which featured the singes Take Yourself Home and Easy, and marked a new era for the musician. With two studio albums under his belt, Blue Neighbourhood and Bloom, Sivan has rapidly secured his place as one of Australia's most renowned acts, having taken home two ARIA Awards, an APRA award, a Billboard Music Awards trophy, three MTV Europe Music awards and two GLAAD Media wins.
