Sydney-born, London-based artist, Bryson Hill has dropped his new EP, I Want You, via GUDU Records - the influential label founded by Peggy Gou. To celebrate the release, he's taking us through the collection of songs track-by-track...
"This whole EP represents everything I love about house music and shows off all the sounds that continue to inspire me," he tells MILKY. "To gain support on this project from artists like Peggy Gou, Chloe Caillet, Kettama, Solomun, Job Jobse is truly special."
I WANT YOU
One of the most in demand tracks all summer which only took me a few hours to make, feels like the golden ticket when everything works this well without the back and forth adjusting a track for months on end.
UNITY GROOVE
I built this entire song around the a cappella, I kept it simple but really focused on making the drums the main driving factor. A proper daytime groover
BODY MOVEMENT
One for the dark club moments, I put a little hint of reverb on the top end of the kick which to me gives it a warehouse feel.
BAIE DE BEAULIEU
This song I made while sitting by the sea side in the south of France (hence the name) really looking around and taking in all the sounds. Probably one of my favourite songs ive ever released and if you listen closely you can hear the waves lapping the sand.
