Acclaimed Melbourne songwriters Paris Wells and Finley François are stepping into a new creative chapter, preparing to unveil their latest collaborative project with a full-album performance of Lounge of the Flamingo on 27 November at George Lane. To celebrate, they have shared with MILKY their favourite venues in Naarm.

Released in August, Lounge of the Flamingo arrives as a lush, Latin-tinged lounge offeringl; an album that whispers rather than shouts, weaving understated nods to Nouvelle Vague, Astrud Gilberto, and Cesária Évora. It’s a work that reveals the depth of Wells and François’ shared artistic language, one forged over two decades of collaboration. Their latest effort stands as both a testament to their evolution and a reminder of the quiet power of musicians who know exactly what they want to say, and precisely how to say it.

For longtime followers of the pair, the night promises not just a debut, but an intimate immersion into the sonic world they’ve meticulously crafted.
