Gold Coast five-piece Local Safari recently dropped their new single, Open Sea. To celebrate the release, the band have shared with MILKY the thoughts they would have on the open sea!
Brining their particular brand of indie-rock to the release, Open Sea is set atop shimmering sonics, heralded by front woman Leah Horn's mesmerising vocal performances. Cathartic lyricism conceptually navigates your place within the world, soundtracked by glistening guitars and driving percussion.
Local Safari are currently in the midst of their Queensland Open Sea Tour, having already taken to the stage in Burleigh, Brisbane and Northlakes. The five-piece will return to the stage at Brisbane's The Zoo on October 31 for the final stop of the tour.
Without further adieu, here are five thoughts Local Safari would have on the open sea...
Marco: This is going to be a whale of a time!
Kale: Let's just sail to New Zealand.
Leah: We’re all just tiny drops in this big ocean.
Josh: Did anyone bring beers?
Brad: Would’ve been sick to be a pirate.
Open Sea is out now! Listen to the song below.
