Aussie alt-rockers The Rubens have offered up their first taste of new music since the release double platinum fourth studio album, 0202. The new track, Waste A Day arrives alongside the announcement of the bands 2022 mammoth national tour.
Arriving just in time for summer, the inspiring track marks the first time band mates and brothers Sam, Elliott and Zaac Margin have co-written together. The release arrives alongside an official visual, animated visual that follows an individual as they cycle along picturesque views.
Speaking of the track, the band share: “Everyday has the potential to be a good day. Squeeze what you can from it.”
Kicking off in Warnambool on February 2, the extensive run of shows will continue on to Torquay, Melbourne, Adelaide, Mt Gambier, Camden, Sydney, Coffs Harbour, Sandstone Point, Hamilton, Horsham, Swan Hill, Mildura, Broken Hill, Orange, Tamworth, Katoomba, Wagga Wagga, Griffith, Wodonga, Echuca and Ballarat, before wrapping up in Geelong on April 10. The five-piece are also set to headline ValleyWays Festival on February 19 in their hometown of Camden.
