UK electro-punk four-piece Strange Bones have shared the visual for their latest single, Jungle. Directed by frontman Bobby Bentham alongside Jon Foxley-Evans, the moody visual sees the band performing the track from dimly lit neon setting, with fever like shots spliced within.
On the track, Bentham shares: "Jungle is a reflection of the mind prison which we feel sometimes locked up in. Anger and self-doubt, when it seems like everything is falling apart. It’s finding that strength and loophole to try to take control of reality and be ready for anything."
Jungle is set to appear on the bands forthcoming record, ENGLAND SCREAMS. The album sees Bentham take on writing, production, mixing, and engineering duties, with the record set to focus on the relationship between chaos and balance. ENGLAND SCREAMS. will mark the bands first release under their new label, FRKST, an imprint of 300 Entertainment run by Johnny Stevens.
“The idea for ENGLAND SCREAMS album came from trying to understand the relationship between order and chaos, the two factions that fly different flags but create balance when they meet in battle. I’m not afraid of taking things to extremes, which aligns with the highs and lows of not just songwriting, but life in general. It's where I feel comfortable when creating, completely outside of my comfort zone, Which asks the question if there was ever a comfort zone there to begin with.” Bentham says of the record.
