Morning View is out now!

Melbourne duo Sophisticated Dingo have dropped their new single, Morning View. To celebrate the release and their upcoming run of live shows, the duo have shared with MILKY their five tips for staying sane on tour!

“Morning View is about holding off speaking rashly in the moment and instead allowing clearer heads to prevail later,” vocalist Lewis Matte shares. “Sometimes pouring so much of yourself into something can leave you worn out, especially when people around you don’t buy in - ultimately leaving you broken and willing to give up on your ideal path to follow a more compromised one."

ONE

Sit at opposite ends of the plane to your bandmates. You’ve had enough of each other in the car. This is your chance.

TWO

Gin, seltzer and Oliver’s. Don’t try your luck on beers and Macca’s. My first McRib was also my last.

THREE

Be a good dj. If you’re not driving then at least don’t kill the vibe.

FOUR

Google reviews mean a lot. Don’t book shitty accom.

FIVE

Take it in. You mightn’t have slept, you may spend more than you should on accom, but if you’re playing to the biggest crowd you have ever seen in a town you’ve never been to… then do you really care about those things? Never forget what that feels like.
