SATIN CALI'S TOP 5 SONGS FOR LIFES SLIDING DOOR MOMENTS

The bands new single, Will I Die, is out now!

Wollongong rockers Satin Cali have treated fans today with a brand new single, Will I Die. The alt-punk anthem is about falling in love at the wrong time, and prioritising yourself no matter how hard that decision is. Full of grit and emotion, Will I Die showcases a more vulnerable side of the four-piece, whilst expanding their trademark indie-rock sonics.

To celebrate the release, lead guitarist Isaac Flaherty has given us his Top 5 Sliding Doors tracks, to get you through those moments that Gwyneth Paltrow couldn't even handle. (If you don't get that reference then you need to go watch Sliding Doors ASAP).

Existing between the realms of surf-rock and indie-rock, Satin Cali burst onto the scene in 2020 with their debut single, Orange. Off the back of the release, the band received airplay from Triple J and BBC Radio 1, also chatting with resident legend Jack Saunders live on air. With a slew of new music up their sleeves, and a number of sold-out shows to their name, the four-piece hope to release a string of singles throughout 2021, before dropping a full-length body of work next year.

Without further adieu, here are Satin Cali's Top 5 Sliding Doors Tracks...

THE STROKES - LAST NITE

An absolute all time favourite of mine. The melody and simplicity in this gets me every time!!

REX ORANGE COUNTY - HAPPINESS

A song that really hit me about what it means to truly be happy and how to find it!

HARRY STYLES - FALLING

Who doesn’t love a bitta Harry styles these days! Falling is an instant classic that tugs the heart strings.

THE FRAY - YOU FOUND ME

An all time favourite again! You Found Me is the epitome of a “right person, wrong time” song!

ARCTIC MONKEYS - WHY'D YOU ONLY EVER CALL ME WHEN YOU'RE HIGH

A little bit left field of the “sliding doors” category, but it’s the Arctic Monkeys at their finest and definitely holds true to searching for something at the wrong time.
