Tough is out now!

Gold Coast five-piece Radolescent have dropped their new single, Tough. To celebrate the release and their east coast tour, the band have shared with MILKY their five favourite venues to play in Australia!
“Tough in its essence, is a song akin to the feeling of someone close to you becoming a stranger right before your eyes - a probing sense that maybe they weren’t the person you thought they were, while also reeling from the fact maybe you weren’t the person they hoped you were either. the band share.
"The confusion of hope amalgamated with the harsh realities of what a relationship can truly be in its day to day, is what ‘Tough’ explores. We all wear a disguise and ‘Tough’ explores where yours ends and where those around you begin.”
Last Friday, Radolescent kicked off their Tough tour at Brisbane's The Zoo. The run of shows will continue on to Melbourne, Sydney and Byron Bay, before wrapping up on the Gold Coast on October 23.
SHARK BAR
RIP shark bar. We came up playing here every weekend through the band's humble beginnings. Angry tradies, sticky floors and a terrible smell! But Shark Bar was our home, our first love and a magnet for some of Australia's best touring bands. Seccies were scary and so were the tradies but boy was it fun!
VINNIES DIVE
Everything you could want in a dive bar close to home. A stellar establishment run by the legendary Glenn, has always been more than hospitable and tolerant of our antics. With a newly refurbished band room, we are stinging to get in there and test her out!
TRANSIT BAR
We found ourselves in the hands of some of the nicest people in Canberra during our show at Transit Bar. It was new to us so we really didn’t know what to expect but the whole operation blew us away. Sound was amazing, the staff super accommodating, food was epic and the Canberra crowd really got after it!
THE NORTHERN
Another sentimental one, our first show away from home. We’ve played it packed, we’ve played it empty but everytime time it's always full of plenty of crackin memories. A metric fuck-ton of beers, a bed for the night and some of the best sound around. A classic venue run like an old school country pub.
TIVOLI
The new line up’s second live show fresh out of Covid, opened for Beddys Rays to a 800 strong crowd at the Tivoli. It was such an insane experience to play at such a professional venue with a legendary line up. The punters went mad right from the get go as they shook the lockdown fever, truly an epic gig at such a shitty time - a show that we won't soon be forgetting.
