RÜFÜS DU SOL are back! Having been working away quietly on new music, the trio have shared a brand new banger, Alive. The release marks the first taste of new music from the group since the release of their 2018 GRAMMY nominated record, SOLACE.
The transcendent track lyrically captures feelings felt worldwide over the past year, navigating the anxieties and urgent emotions that arose during the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking of the track, frontman Tyrone Lindqvist shares: “It’s a heavier song in some ways, but at its core it's hopeful. We are - all of us - living in this transitional moment right now and we wanted to focus on the hope that the future holds for us all. To focus on the light at the end of this tunnel."
Alongside the release comes the announcement of the band’s North American Fall Tour, with two sold out nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in August, and headlining festival appearances already at the Governors Ball, Austin City Limits, III Points, Bonnaroo and more.
