Boorloo/Perth-based artist has returned with her urgent new single, Don't Touch Me.

The dynamic track opens with AI narration vocals that set the tone for the rage-fuelled conceptual standpoint of the song. Don't Touch Me offers moments of self-autonomy and power as BEXX pushes up against and challenges power structures designed to hold people down. Instead, she commands respect as she owns her power, showcased in biting lyricism that brings a cathartic release.

Speaking of the track, BEXX says the song "empowers anyone who listens to it to feel like the master of their own life, and that they can dismantle any systems or situations where they want to see change. It’s all about that POWER, STRENGTH & PASSION baby."

Juxtaposing the songs serious thematic exploration with bright and bouncy production allows for an engaging listening experience. Built upon dance-floor ready beats and robust synth work, BEXX's luring vocals are reminiscent of British pop star Lily Allen, with her distinct phrasing and sweet but powerful performance. The release arrives alongside an official visual, co-directed with Tay Kaka, that captures the drive for self-autonomy present throughout the track.
