Fronted by vocalist and songwriter Sophian Manik, the bands latest offering exists within a mesmerising soundscape led by lulling guitar melodies and driving percussion. Manik's captivating vocals float above, bringing vivid lyricism to life as the track offers moments of introspection and making peace with past decisions in order to focus on a brighter future.
"Head Above Water explores self-reflection, navigating trauma and being able to
look back at your younger self and state that “things are going to be okay!”. And
reminding oneself what other people may have done to you doesn't define who you are
as a person." the band share of the track.
To celebrate the release, Sophian will take to the stage at Fremantle's Clancy's Fish Pub on Saturday December 17. Supported by Spici Water, LUCI and Dulcie's Ash, tickets are on sale now!
