Written and produced by the musician himself, the shimmering track continues the musicians foray into more pop based sonics. Weaving together analog synthesisers, modular systems, sampling machines, and various other acoustic and electric instruments into one nostalgic drenched soundscape, the track conceptually manifested from a heart of surrender and self love.
Speaking of the track, the musician shares: "Like many of us, the last year proved to me the frailty of my own mind. The isolation forced me into the processing of heartbreak, depression and religious trauma. Throughout this process of losing myself I’ve discovered the only way to truly exist is in the present moment. Kiss Somebody is about right now."
Motherly Jet is the dynamic art-pop musical project of musician and producer Ezra Salmine. Hailing from Nashville, TN, Salmine draws influences from the likes of Kate Bush, David Byrne, Lady Gaga, David Bowie, Julian Casablancas, Grace Jones, Bjork, MGMT, and Thom Yorke. With an EP and a string of singles under his belt, Kiss Somebody ushers in a new era from the musician.
