Throughout the track, the singer documents the betrayal and hurt that arises upon learning of your partners infidelity, laced with vulnerable and heartbreaking lyricism. Korts mesmerising performance float above spatial and atmospheric production, existing within a dark-pop realm that builds to a bewitching chorus heralded by the singers soaring vocals.
“Gone is a feeling like the one in your chest when your heart is breaking. It's an anthem for anybody who has been hurt by somebody in a way words can't show, bringing a strong and equally as delicate pop beat that delivers honesty to the feelings that come with hurt.” the singer shares of the release.
Making her debut in 2017, Korts has shared a string of singles, including Crocodiles Cry, Not Your Type and last year’s Everyone. She has performed across Brisbane, and appeared at Queensland Flower Festival alongside Alex Lahey, The Paper Kites and The Temper Trap.
