Bringing her signature alt-R&B sonics to the release, the EP tracks the singers growth from girl-hood into a self-assured young woman, examining the world around her and navigating her own path. Meandering between theatrical and nostalgic, the EP's production simmers beneath Warner's mesmerising vocals, bringing to life ear-worm melodies and captivating sonics.
Speaking of the release, the singer shares: “Drama is the drama of living. The drama of growing up. The theatricality of the world. The way it feels like a stage, or that you're always waiting to be seen. Either chasing or shrivelling up under the spotlight. The competitive, anxiety-inducing headrush of constantly unpacking the world and your place in it.”
To celebrate the release, the singer will take to the stage at Sydney's The Lord Gladstone, performing as part of the BLOOM series presented by Waratah Records. Tickets are on sale now!
