Australian band DICE are back with their new single, COOLER. To celebrate the release, they have put together a playlist full of songs to soundtrack the perfect road trip.

“We actually put this playlist together on our recent down south tour with our mates Letters to Lions where we did about 15 hours total driving,” the band share. “We decided to set some random alarms and let that process choose which songs would make the cut for the playlist! Road tripping playlists come in all shapes and sizes however they all guarantee one thing - BIG singalongs, we hope you enjoy!”

COOLER feels like a natural evolution for the band, who have spent the past two years rapidly growing beyond their hometown roots. The track captures a fresh shift in their sound, combining their gritty garage-rock roots with a smoother, more polished pop-rock edge. Recorded at the iconic EastWest Studios in Los Angeles with renowned producer Joe Chiccarelli (The Strokes, The White Stripes), the track has an easygoing, sun-drenched vibe that is perfect for long drives and open roads. DICE also enlisted Jay Watson on the track, bringing his lush and atmospheric keys that give the song a richer, more melodic tone.
