Naarm-based Lebanese house producer Tobiahs has teamed up with UK vocalist TIKE on his new single, Why Am I In Love. To celebrate the release, the musician is taking MILKY behind the scenes of the video shoot and we're bringing you along!
Created by award-winning filmmakers Nicky Murphy and Zeïna Thiboult (Melbourne Cineverse Festival 2022 Winner, Melbourne International Film Festival 2021 Winner), the stunning visual takes its inspiration from the Renaissance period, with nods to the captivating essence of music videos from the 1980's.
"I really, really love the song ‘Be The One’ by Rudimental. I especially loved what TIKE brought to that track and instantly knew we had to work with him. ‘Why Am I In Love’ felt like the perfect fit for both vocalists." Tobiahs shares of the collaboration. He adds of the visual, “I thought it would be an interesting contrast to pair these visual influences with my music. I never knew all these eras combined could fuse so cohesively into ‘Why Am I In Love’.”
