Aotearoa born, Melbourne/Naarm-based artist dœgægé has dropped his new single, THUNDER PERFUME, taken from his forthcoming debut EP GOBLIN BLISS ETERNAL RELIEF. To celebrate the release, the musician is taking us behind-the-scenes of the making of the track
"I think this one is my favourite song I’ve ever made. It’s one of the best examples of my sound & style. THUNDER PERFUME is the song that initiates the EP, setting the tone for the entire project. It plays with the idea that souls don’t die, with a naïve perspective of life. I made it with a horrible dented microphone, I remember completing the song in only an hour.’ dœgægé shares.

I scrapped the whole song and rewrote it at 3:33am, feeling bewitched as fucked. The song you hear today was conceived in this moment.
