NATHAN BALL DROPS NEW SINGLE 'BLINDSIDE'

Image: Supplied.

British musician Nathan Ball has dropped his stunning new single, Blindside. The track is set to appear on Ball's forthcoming debut album, due out later this year.

The song came to be after Ball began tinkering on a piano in an old chapel outside of Bath, before building to the cascading track we hear today, made complete with crashing symbols laced within a euphoric chorus. Produced by Max Radford and mixed by the esteemed Nicolas Verhnes (The War on Drugs, Daughter, Deerhunter), the song conceptually documents the demise of a relationship, and losing yourself whilst searching for a way to rekindle that initial connection.

Much of Ball's material is connected to his surroundings and fuses his passions for folk songwriting and house music. With each release, Nathan invites listeners into his vivid musical world earmarked by classic songwriting and house-inspired flourishes, showing an eagerness to experiment and push sonic boundaries.

Blindside is out now! Listen to the track below.
