Breakout boy band, Midnight Til Morning have dropped their debut EP, Afterglow. Across seven tracks, the rising pop band have laid out a clear sense of identity. The EP is melodically rich, emotionally open, and sonically polished, without feeling overproduced or insincere.
Released just ahead of their first world tour - with sold-out shows in major cities across three continents - the EP marks an important milestone for the group, not just as performers but as writers and collaborators. While the project includes contributions from some of pop’s most in-demand names, the bands own input anchors the release in their own perspective. The result is a collection that feels both ambitious and personal.
The release is heralded by their new single, Heart on Fire. Co-written by Yaron, Ferraro, and Joshua Murty, it’s a tightly built pop track that balances drive with emotional clarity. There’s a deliberate energy to it; something that feels purpose-built for live shows, without relying on cheap theatrics.
“Heart on Fire feels like the perfect song to lead into Afterglow because it captures the energy we want to bring to our shows and to this whole era,” says Mason Watts. “This EP is really the beginning of our story - we’ve poured every part of ourselves into these seven songs, and we can’t wait for people to connect with them the same way we do.”
That sense of purpose runs through the EP, particularly on new tracks like 17, a reflective, coming-of-age song that draws on the familiar themes of youth and longing without slipping into cliché. Similarly, Edge of Amazing leans into atmosphere and restraint, delivering a ballad that feels intimate even at its most expansive.
Other highlights include Ghost of Us and Welcome to LA, which have already sent fans into a frenzy since their release as singles. These tracks reinforce the band’s core strengths: evocative lyricism, crisp arrangements, and a sound that sits comfortably within modern pop without becoming indistinct.
