Australian musician Michael Dunstan has shared an acoustic re-imagined version of his track, Lay In The Sun. The song is taken from Dunstan’s latest record, In The Grand Scheme.
The laid-back rendition draws attention to the singers echoed vocals and highlights the songs beautiful guitar melodies. The track touches on themes of mental health and is a reminder to live life to the fullest and take it easy. Having been open about his own struggles with anxiety, the singer hopes to leave his listeners with a piece of mindfulness, sharing his new found appreciation of the world around us.
The Western Australian folk musician had three EP’s under his belt before dropping his debut album, In The Grand Scheme, earlier this year. With over 5 million streams on Spotify alone, Dunstan has extensively toured throughout Australia and New Zealand over the past two years, receiving a warm reception nationwide with admiration for his intricate craft.
