Australian singer-songwriter Mia Lovelock has unveiled her new single, Last Night. The release continues the singers exploration of folk-based sonics.

Honouring her heritage indigenous with the Taungurung people of central Victoria, Last Night navigates a spiritual journey that leads you towards finding solace within your life that points towards a fulfilled future. With staccato vocal articulation, Lovelock's driving vocal performance conjures vivid imagery through story telling lyricism. The singer has also shared a strip backed version of the track.

Speaking of the track, the singer shares: "Last Night is about my indigenous heritage to the Taungurung people. It reflects on connecting with your inner spirit and ancestry, leading to a path of purpose."

Growing up in Arnhem Land and Papua New Guinea Lovelock studied at the Contemporary Music Centre in Sydney, following years of busking and performing with friends. Weaving together sonic threads of folk, modern electronica and indie-pop, Last Night is the latest in a string of singles, including Endure and The Game. Away from music, Lovelock has turned her attention to fashion, creating one-of-a-kind garments.
