Written in the style of a manifest or rather a record of time, you follow a bevy of characters plucked from time to create a rich tapestry of a story that mesmerises you from start to finish. It’s history, sci-fi, adventure, mystery, comedy and romance threaded into one juicy story.
If you liked Kate & Leopold, Sleepy Hollow (TV series) and Sliding Doors you’ll really enjoy this novel. I’m ready for a re-read, just so I can visit these characters again.
