GRAMMY nominated Italian rockers Måneskin are keeping the hits coming with their new single, HONEY (ARE U COMING?). The track arrives ahead of the bands debut Australian tour later this year.
Produced by SLY, Rami and Jussifer, the track brings Måneskin's signature blistering guitar lines and propulsive percussion, heralded by frontman Damiano David's inimitable vocals. Inviting us along on the adventure, the track explores the unpredictable nature of a night spent together.
“We wrote the song right after the tour, we still had a lot of energy from the touring and the travelling. We wrote it in between London and LA. We're really happy with the result and we think it’s something quite new for us.” bassist Victoria De Angelis shares.
David adds, “It’s the story of someone who has no gender or anything, you decide whoever it is. Find someone else and they can see in their eyes that there’s some sadness that they feel out of place and it’s an invitation from one person to another to join them into this new adventure without knowing what they’re actually going to find, but just enjoy the adventure.”
This November, Måneskin will embark on their debut Australian tour. Having sold-out all dates across the run, the four-piece will bring their RUSH! World Tour to Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Sydney's Hordern Pavillion and Melbourne's Margaret Court Arena, before wrapping up in Adelaide at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
Made up of vocalist David, de Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio, the four-piece burst onto the scene in 2017 when they finished second on X Factor Italia. In 2021, they took home the crown at the Eurovision Song Contest with their song Zitti e buoni, which gave the band a legion of new fans worldwide. In January this year, the band released their magnetic third studio album, Rush!, featuring an epic collaboration with Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello on GOSSIP. Måneskin received their first GRAMMY nomination at this years awards, having been selected as contenders for Best New Artist.
