Brisbane producer LUUNG has unveiled his new single, how would it feel?, elevating his signature DIY production to new sonic heights.

Traversing themes of longing for affection and the desire to be loved, the release offers introspective and intimate lyricism, with the musicians mesmerising vocals floating above moving production. Weaving in threads of folk through the implementation of organic instrumentation, how would it feel? showcases a new side of LUUNG, bringing a warm glow to the sonic texture of the release and channelling early Snow Patrol releases.

Speaking of the track, the musician shares: “I really fought to get this song out. It’s not perfect and making this song was a hard process, but I just knew I needed to put it out. I culled about 12 songs and had 5 ready to release, but decided this was the only track worth giving to people. This is the most honest and authentic song I’ve released. It is the first step in a new direction for the LUUNG sound. I hope you feel it too!”

Influenced by the likes of Akurei, Vancouver Sleep Clinic and Jack Grace, LUUNG's atmospheric approach to his sonic palette pushes the boundaries with each release. With three EP's under his belt, how would it feel? is the first taste of new music following the release of his EP, did it get any better?, earlier this year.
