Melbourne-based musician Juno Mamba has dropped Manami's pumping remix of 1996. Featuring ANTONMOND, the remix elevates the track to futuristic heights, placing the song within a 90's rave realm that is aching to be played in the clubs..
Speaking of the track, the musician shares: “Super excited to have had Manami remix 1996. Her re-imagination is hypnotic and energetic, perfect for early morning raves. Looking forward to hearing this on a big sound system.”
Manami adds, “I was quickly drawn to the euphoric synth tones and vocal lines in Juno Mamba's 1996. It fell very naturally into the trance tip once I started playing around with the rhythm on the vocals. This one's for the dark sweaty clubs in the AM.”
The musical project of Vinci Javier, acclaimed debut EP Light Echoes, which dropped early last year, and was followed up by the hypnotic Siargao Dreams. The track was inspired by the musicians family history, and the stories passed down from generation to generation.
