Multi-award winning singer-songwriter, Jorja Smith has released her stellar new single, Addicted. The release is accompanied by an official visual, directed by Smith with Savanah Leaf.
The brooding and emotive track takes a more stripped back approach, with the song conceptually exploring what appears to be a one-sided relationship. The songs visual was shot via a webcam in England, with the musician situated within a number of settings as she reflects upon the relationship explored throughout the song. Speaking of the visual, Smith shares: “the video is multiple versions of me singing the song; having fun dressing up, not trying to be too serious and just giving myself more freedom.”
Over the past two and half years since the release of her Grammy-nominated debut album Lost & Found, Smith has been celebrated unanimously across the world for her evocative song-writing, powerful delivery, pure emotion and unbridled talent as a young woman navigating her way through the world. Smith has graced multiple magazine covers, performed at awards ceremonies and on late night TV, and sold out shows across the globe, now surpassing over one billion global streams.
