Sydney-based songwriter and producer Jordie Ireland is back with his new single, You're Not Mine. On the track, the musician enlists Cam Robertson of Glades and is the first in a series of offerings that explore the many stages of heartbreak.

Set atop glistening production, Ireland's smooth vocals take centre stage, bringing to life vulnerable and relatable lyricism. Conceptually, the release explores that period of a time after a break up where the relationship is over yet the lust still remains.

Speaking of the track, the musician shares: “The whole premise of the song is the idea that you are trying to convince yourself that spending a night together is fine now that you are no longer together but in the end all it does is elongate the breakup process.”

With classical training in six instruments, Ireland shifted his attention to producing after witnessing a live set by the late great Avicii, recontextualising his training and experience into a new musical path. His 2017 ARIA Gold certified single Take Cover, earned him a legion of fans, before teaming up with Tyron Hapi in 2020 on the Gold certified Make You Mine.

You're Not Mine is out now! Listen to the track below.
