New Zealand singer-songwriter Paige has today dropped her new single, California. We caught up with the singer to chat about the release, her artistry, working on her debut album and so much more!
Across the track, the singer documents her desire to for a change of scene, wanting to chase her dreams straight to the sun-drenched state of California. It's also a comment on our idea of success, with many seeing as making it in America and living out your dreams in Los Angeles as the ultimate lifestyle.
Having made her debut in 2018 with So Far, Paige has dropped a string of singles since launching her musical output under 'Paiges Space.' Her debut EP, Always Growing, arrived in 2020, and the singer has caught the attention of superstars Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Ruby Rose and more. Paige has taken to the stage alongside Six60, Ruel and Drax Project, and played at some of New Zealand's biggest festivals, including R&V, Bay Dreams, Homegrown and Peachy Keen, as well as opened for international acts including George Ezra, Holly Humberstone and Nina Nesbitt. Paige is currently working away on her debut album, set to arrive later this year.
