Australian musician Keli Holiday has dropped his new single, Only Fashion, teaming up with Alisa Xayalith. We caught up with Adam Hyde, the musical mastermind behind Keli Holiday, to chat about the release, his Australian tour, creating the world of Keli Holiday and so much more!
Coming through like a breeze on a warm summers day, Only Fashion follows up the musicians debut album, Keli, that arrived only months ago. The track is all about that lustful love that lures you in, like a siren call from the depths of the ocean, set atop nostalgia-fuelled production that will have you dancing all night long. Hyde and Xayalith’s dreamy vocals joined together perfectly captures the songs magnetic energy, with the tracks visual taking us to the beach as we follow the two artists promenade along the shore.
Hyde has just completed his debut headline Australian tour, stopping in Perth, Wollongong, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane. Supported by Good Lekker, the musician brought his electric stage presence to audiences across the country, playing through tracks from Keli which resulted in raucous sing-a-longs, with crowds boogieing the night away.
Keli Holiday is the solo project from Hyde, who you may know as one half of multi-ARIA award-winning, 10x platinum-selling, Australian eclectic electronic duo Peking Duk. His debut album, Keli, explored the rollercoaster of falling in love, experiencing heartbreak and navigating everyday life to find your own place in the world. For the project, Hyde has collaborated with the likes of Golden Features, The Presets’ Kim Moyes and Johnny Took from DMA’s. Only Fashion is only the first taste of new music from Keli Holiday.
