South-coast based artist ioakim has unveiled his debut EP, feel something or nothing at all. We caught up with the musician to chat about the release, creating a visual identity, his forthcoming headline tour and so much more!
Across the release, the musician effortlessly weaves together sonic threads of brit-pop, indie-rock and dance-punk to create compelling soundscapes that unfurl beneath his distinctive and enchanting vocals. With the majority of the EP written, recorded and produced in ioakim's bedroom, intimate and reflective lyricism are laced throughout feel something or nothing at all, exploring the human existence of life in your twenties.
To celebrate the release, Ioakim will embark on his debut headline tour, dubbed A Tour To Feel Something To. The musician will take to the stage at Sydney's Golden Age Cinema on October 22 and Melbourne's Yah Yah’s on November 4, with special guests to be announced for both shows. Tickets are on sale now!
