Emerging artist edith has unveiled her new single, Fear. We caught up with the singer
at Ryan Miller's studio on Hercules St to chat about the release, her upcoming single launch show, how to get over some fears and so much more!
Co-written with Robby De Sa (MAY-A, Sahara Beck) and mixed by Eric J Dubowsky (Flume, Tove Lo), the track was inspired by the demise of a friendship, and the realisation that nothing lasts forever. Laced with intimate and introspective lyricism, edith's mesmerising vocals float above a darker indie-pop soundscape, driven by captivating guitar work. The track arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Bailey Watts. The clip sees the singer recalling on childhood memories, with projections of home videos fuelling the songs nostalgic aura in a visual form.
Having supported the likes of Annie Hamilton, Odette and Greta Stanley, the singer will return to the stage at The Chippo Hotel, Sydney on December 3 to celebrate the release with an exclusive headline performance. Joined by special guests, tickets are on sale now.
