American singer-songwriter, Claire Rosinkranz has unveiled her much anticipated album, Just Because. We caught up with the singer to chat about the release and so much more!
Drawing on recent life experiences, the record documents the transitional period of life as an 18-year-old with a particular focus on love and loss. The album juxtaposes brighter sonics with more introspective and deep-rooted lyricism. Her sweet and distinctly Californian tone floats above summer-fuelled breezy soundscapes, weaving together notes of pop and indie-rock led by considered proaction.
The daughter of musicians, Rosinkranz caught the attention of Republic Records at age 16 and has since released two EP’s, 2020’s BeVerly Hills BoYfRiEnd and 2021’s 6 Of A Billion. Her breakout single, Backyard Boy, hit ARIA Gold status in Australia and is RIAA-certified Gold in the USA, also earning the singer the MTV Trending VMA for Best Breakthrough Song. Earlier this year, Rosinkranz made her debut on Australian stages with a headline show in Sydney and an appearance at Splendour In The Grass.
