LA indie-pop newcomers goth gf have shared their new track, Bleach. The release arrives alongside a visual, which follows the duo as they ride through the streets of California on a bike and offer up their own unique tutorial on how to bleach your hair.
Set to appear on their forthcoming debut EP crush, the track conceptually navigates the stereotypical post-breakup irrational life decisions that we have no idea why we do them, but we do. In this instance, it's bleaching your hair. “It doesn’t work,” the band says. “Yet...we keep doing it every. single. time.”
Comprised of songwriter Zach DeGaetano and music director Carter Vaughan, the bedroom boy band from the West Coast came to be after the duo were members of Billboard chart-topping artist Tate McRae's band. Having dropped their debut single xo in April, the duo have been working away on their debut EP, with each track on the release set to be accompanied by a “Backseat” version - a stripped back reimagining of the songs recorded and filmed in the backseat of a Volvo.
Bleach is out now! Watch the visual below.
