Fine is out now!

Brisbane artist and producer Emerson Leif has returned with his new single, Fine. To celebrate the release, the musician has shared with MILKY his favourite happy songs!

"I was hiding away and when I sat down and wrote this song it felt like I was finally telling someone about everything that was happening with my state of mind. I like the music I write to acknowledge the difficulties and challenges of life but always feeling hopeful., Leif shares. "Sometimes the world feels heavy, I get down and then feel guilty for not being ok all the time. I am hoping it gives some lightness to anyone feeling under the weight right now".

I'M STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU - AL GREEN

This is timeless. I like it now, I will like it when I'm ninety.

STRAWBERRY LETTER 23 - SHUGGIE OTIS

This song sounds like three songs in one. I love his voice and the clean guitars and staccato delivery of the vocals.

NEW MUSIC - ANOTHER MICHAEL

The production and performance of this track just feels so light and uplifting like nothing was overthought. I put this song on in the mornings when I make coffee. It feels like a new day or like the morning sun shining through a window onto your face.

SUMMERTIME - CHARLOTTE DAY WILSON

I love everything Charlotte touches but this song has something special about it.

SPANISH JOINT - D'ANGELO

This is one of my all time favourite songs. The rhythm section is good! When I first heard this I hit repeat 5 times for sure. I have been and continue to be so inspired by this whole album.
