English band easy life have dropped their hotly-anticipated sophomore album, MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE…. We caught up with the five-piece whilst they were in Sydney to chat about the release, the evolution of their sound, collaborating and so much more!
Laced with conversational lyricism and ear-worm melodies, the body of work finds frontman Murray Matravers navigating a new world, exploring love, heartbreak and past mistakes that together make a sincere and poignant comment on the human existence. Matravers' breezy vocals flow above genre-melding soundscapes, bringing together threads of 70's pop and hip-hop to create a sun-drenched palette that oozes with glistening guitar work, driving percussion and bubbling bass lines.
Having recently wrapped up a run of headline shows across the east coast of Australia, Easy Life are set to embark on an extensive world tour that will visit the UK, Europe and North America. Fans can also get their hands on exclusive vinyl pressings of MAYBE IN ANOTHER LIFE…, and limited edition signed CD's from the bands website.
