Australian singer, songwriter and producer DRELLA has unveiled his debut single, Until The Morning. The musical project of Bobby Andonov, the track marks the first taste of the musicians forthcoming EP.
Bringing the sensual charisma of INXS frontman Michael Hutchence and vocals that could liked to Prince, the bewitching track is built upon a dark and funky bass line surrounded by atmospheric production and warped guitar melodies. Seductive and captivating, the raw and emotive track showcases DRELLA's textural vocals, as he effortlessly darts between mesmerising falsetto and crunchier tones.
Having spent time writing and producing tracks for other artists, Andonov returned to his childhood Melbourne home during the pandemic, where his brother challenged him with the task to write a song every day. This newfound time to fully immerse himself within his creative process, resulting in the musical exploration we hear today.
