Singer-songwriter Didirri has returned with his moving new single, Begin Again. The release is accompanied by the announcement of the musicians signing to Liberation Records and new managers Greg Carey and Michael Ridgewell, as well as the news of an east coast tour.

Serving as the first taste of what to expect from the musicians long-awaited debut album, the introspective releases sees the musician bare all, offering up his most intimate thoughts as he uncovers an inner rebirth. Documenting this shift in the track, poetic lyricism paints vivid imagery, brought to life by Didirri's soothing and captivating tones floating above a hypnotic soundscape. The songs visual, directed by W.A.M. Bleakley and filmed on Wurundjeri land, captures the conceptual nature of the song with beautiful scenes inspired by a dream.

“Old feelings can become as fresh as they ever were by a touch in the right place or by the look in their eyes. There has been a rebirth in me. A new (and old) sense of creativity, of purpose and of love. I wrote Begin Again in the midst of the pandemic, a learning time in so many ways. I came to the quiet conclusion that starting with a complex ending in mind is a foolish way of being. Always begin from a place of simplicity, if the core of the idea, relationship or path feels good then you are surely on the way.” the musician shares.

He continues, “Something has changed in me and I don’t see myself going back anytime soon. This song is an attempt to capture this feeling. I feel alive and present like I haven’t since I first fell for the music. Begin Again is the jumping off point of a new chapter that I can put to my name and run with for a long time to come.”

Kicking off at Melbourne's The Nightcat on June 17, the musicians run of headline shows will continue on to Sydney on June 24, before closing out the tour in Brisbane on June 30. Didirri is also set to take to the stage an Pelly Bar this weekend, with performances at Inverloch Glade and Gumball Festival next month.
