American rapper and singer Denzel Curry has teamed up with British rapper slowthai for a dynamic new track, Zatoichi. The song serves as the second taste of the musicians forthcoming Melt My Eyez See Your Future, and arrives alongside an official visual.

Produced by Powers Pleasant, the genre bending track intricately weaves together threads of hip-hop and R&B with alt-rock and subtle notes of psychedelic melodies. Curry's magnetic performance feeds of the songs frenzied soundscape, with slowthai perfectly matching the rapper. Filmed on-location in Peru, the songs music video takes its inspiration the legendary 1960's Japanese samurai movie character of the same name, and cult classic Kill Bill Vol. 2.

“I like traditional hip hop, I like drum and bass, I like trap, I like poetry, so a lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house. This album is made up of everything that I couldn't give you on TA13OO or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.” Curry shares of his forthcoming album.

Curry has dominated Australian stages throughout his career, having taken to the stage at Listen Out and Laneway Festival, last month joining Splendour XR and putting on one of the events most engaging sets.
