London rapper and singer Darrell Cole has released his new single, Celebration. Produced by Samuel Kareem Cole penned the track on his birthday in 2019 with plans to release the song last year, however the COVID-19 pandemic put his plans, and all celebrations, on hold. Now, as we return to a sense of normalcy, Cole has delivered the perfect track for all those birthdays, parties, engagements, weddings and everything in between!
The track arrives alongside an official visual, directed by Najim Jansen. The opulent clip sees the musician with his crew at a lavish countryside manor, raising their glasses and celebrating by candlelight.
Born in London to Sierra Leonean parents, Cole has taken on the nickname “International Cole”, having made his way around the globe, planting himself in various places, most notably; Belgium, London & America. With his roots heavily grounded in Hip-Hip, his sound has become fluid and a fusion of all the genres and cultures he grew up with from Afro, jazz, neo-soul, trap, funky house and beyond. His influences are a combination of both the UK and US, citing the likes of Styles P, Nas, Jay-Z and Biggie as some of his biggest inspirations.
