Drummer, producer and DJ Commandeur took to the stage over the weekend as dance-floor restrictions eased in Sydney, launching his new single Already Gone (Walls Are Bending) at The Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney. Along for the ride was Commandeur's collaborators Gabriel Paris, Brewer and Lola Scott.
The musical project of Tim Commandeur, opened his set with Nothing Else, joined on stage by vocalist Gabriel Paris. The set saw the musician and his band, made up of Lewis Clark and Luke G, the three piece played through Commandeur's catalogue, including Me and You, Wasted, Speak Your Mind, Numb, Feel The Love, and Already Gone (Walls Are Bending). The three piece also played through a handful of unreleased songs, as well as covering The Chemical Brothers Galvanize and Around The World.
With over sixteen years working in the music industry, Commandeur burst onto the scene in ARIA award winning band Operator Please. Outside of his solo efforts, the musician is drumming for bands and artists such as Pnau, Tkay Maidza, King Princess and Dua Lipa. The musicians latest single, Already Gone (Walls Are Bending), is built upon driving synths, bringing the drama to electronic music
