Irish-born, London-based musician Cian Ducrot has enlisted longtime collaborator Cate on his poignant new track, Know Me Again. Written over a FaceTime call years ago, the track was the first piece the duo ever worked on together, blossoming a vast collaborative relationship.
The heart-wrenching track navigates the lingering emotions post-breakup, wishing you could go back to those early days of getting to know one another and forget all the events that have followed since. Building to a crescendo, the release perfectly pairs the duos delicate and intimate vocals, bringing the raw emotion of the song to life.
Speaking of the track, Ducrot shares: "Cate and I wrote Know Me Again over FaceTime, and then we kind of forgot about it for a long time. It wasn't until my nearly five year relationship had ended that we came back to this song to finish it, and we realised how special it was. This was one of the first songs Cate and I ever wrote together, and it was the start of a wonderful friendship and songwriting journey. This song means the world to us both 🤍."
