Australian songstress Christina Castle has dropped her new single, FFFree. The musical project of Christina Parie, the track is the latest in a string of singles from the singer and arrives alongside an official visual.
Produced by Matt Pauling (blink-182, 5 Seconds of Summer, Twenty One Pilots), the track continues the singers pop-punk sonic exploration, channelling the likes of luminaries Avril Lavigne and Simple Plan, and recontextualising the genre with a contemporary approach. Parie's vocals stomp above electrifying guitars, distorted bass and driving percussion, as she revels in new-found freedom.
Speaking of the track, the singer shares: “It’s about freedom - in a time where the world can feel like a crazy overwhelming place to live in, finding comfort in the fact that true freedom is found within yourself."
Having appeared on season three of The X Factor Australia in her teens, the singer has since collaborated with the likes of Travis Barker and Linda Perry, and toured globally as a backup singer and keyboardist for Mikey Mike. Having shared the stage with the likes of Yelawolf and Run The Jewels, Parie dropped her debut single, Chapter 1, in 2019.
