Rising star Carla Wehbe has unveiled her sophomore EP, Jupiter and Mars. To celebrate the release, the musician is taking us through the EP track-by-track, and has assigned each song on the release a star sign.
Written across a five year period, the release offers up vulnerable and intimate introspection from Wehbe, as she dissects her own feelings on love, sacrifice and putting yourself. Brazen pop melodies float atop engaging and cathartic soundscapes, heralded by Wehbe's bewitching vocals and storytelling lyricism.
Exploring every facet of her creativity, Wehbe is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, taking control over every piece of art she creates. In 2020, she released debut EP Half Past Nine, which explores themes of love, the juxtaposition of beauty, human connection and the vulnerability of living out your own truth.
Last year, Wehbe opened for international superstars Benson Boone and Alec Benjamin, and capped it off with an epic 'Holiday Hoedown' Christmas show with Charlie Collins and special guests Peach PRC, Gretta Ray, EGOISM, Charley, Cody Jon. She recently announced she will be performing at VIVID Festival with Dan Sultan, and earlier this year performed Fair Day in Sydney and Mountain Goat Valley Crawl in Brisbane.
