Beloved ARIA Award-winning Australian act, Lime Cordiale have launched their own brewing company, LARGO Brewing. We caught up with the duo to chat about their new endeavour, their commitment to creating a carbon neutral product, bringing their signature zest to the brand and so much more!
Launching with two delicious flavours - 'The Dawdler' and 'Clean Lager' - Lime Cordiale's latest project was born after years of touring and sinking a few tinnies. Arriving just in time for summer, the duo created the beer in collaboration with Pinnacle Drinks and finds its name from the acronym for "late afternoon glass off." Having spent the past two years working on the project, brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach have been there every step of the way throughout the planning and production process - bringing the same commitment from their artistry to the brewery.
Furthermore, their commitment to creating a carbon neutral product is led changes made to the brewing process to reduce emissions. Their decision to skip unnecessary filtration steps by brewing a combination of malted and unmalted barley is just the first step. The brothers have also partnered with GreenCollar to purchase Australian Carbon Credits, recycle over 99.5% of their partner brewery waste and run on solar panels.
